In 1955 Harold and Velda Mills started a small automotive repair shop at 902 North Fares Avenue. They operated for 15 years when the present owners, Don Decker and Jack Vickery, purchased the business. By 1977 the operation had outgrown the original location and was moved to 1018 Maxwell Avenue, where the size of the facility and staff tripled. In 1982 they acquired Hills Body Shop on 2314 Division Street and opened Mills Body Shop East, and In 1986 Mills opened their third location at 115 Jaycee Street in Chandler, Indiana.

And in 2003 the fourth location was opened at 10520 Newburgh Road in Newburgh, Indiana.

Throughout the years their sons Don Decker Jr., Britt Decker ,and Randy Vickery have joined the owners in business.
